Hello Friends. This Blog entry deals with the very biggest reason I love my job. A few days ago, I received a private message on social media from the mother of a past client.... a senior that graduated in 2011. I asked if it was ok to share what she wrote & she politely agreed it was. Please read her statements below....
"Hi. In 2011 you did my son’s senior portraits. Remember he was a goalkeeper and you did a montage of him in different poses in his goalkeeper uniform. You did a portrait of it for your studio. Kyle Thomas was the National Guard soldier that was killed last year on Memorial Day. I treasure those portraits you did for us. I didn’t know if you knew that it was him that was killed. Thanks" - Meriem Jo Ann Boussouar
I am truly honored & humbled to have received this message. It breaks my heart that unfortunately, this is not the first message of this kind I've received. Times like this that make me step back & re-evaluate & prioritize my life & what I do with it. You can bet... Archer will be photographed again very soon.
Thank you to Meriem for contacting me & I thank Kyle for his commitment, service, & sacrifice. God bless friends.
Aaron
